Years ago My, then mentor, Lynn Reves, taught that God used the flood, slavery and freedom from Egypt, the law of Moses, His presence in pillars of cloud/fire, and etc. to show us nothing would work except Christ. He said at the final judgment that people would protest that God didn't give them a chance be their best, or that God didn't give them a "to do list". Clearly God exhausted every possible avenue to prove Christ is the only way that can work. I think there is only one more God has planned...For a period of time God will remove Satan and his power from the earth. Once that doesn't work then every excuse has had its run.
